Disneyland

Could there be anything more fun as a mom than surprising your newly minted five year old daughter that just the two of you are going to Disneyland? What a blast! This year at Disneyland you can go for free on your birthday if you bring a copy of your birth certificate so Brandon took the day off to stay with Rachael and just Elizabeth and I went to Disneyland! So so so so fun! The perfect age. She was adorable - about 6 or 7 times during the day she turned to me and said spontaneously, "Mommy, thank you SO much for bringing me here!" It doesn't get much sweeter than that. We were bummed that Peter Pan was closed, but going on "It's a Small World" two times made up for the loss. Next favorite was Pirates. Her best friend (and apparently her crush from what I heard her telling her cousin and big brother in the back of the car today . . .) Max has the same birthday and he was also there with his mom and dad so we spent a few hours together. Too cute. Here are some of the best pics.
