Sadly, our time in Iowa has come to an end. Two weeks to the day later we find ourselves in a hotel in North Platte, Nebraska again. Only this time the annual "Nebraskaland Days Rodeo" is going on so hotels are pretty full. (Wouldn't you drive here and stay in a hotel for that?) As a result, we're staying in a pretty sweet "suite" at the "Quality" Inn. (You've heard of breakfast in bed, but what about breakfast in bath? There's a completely exposed bathtub in the main room right next to the mini kitchen! Like Elizabeth said when I made a joke about our fancy hotel room, "It's not fancy! There's a bathtub in the kitchen!")
I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tomorrow night.
